Founder – Arjun Tamang

Arjun Tamang, the founder of Northeast India Travels, began his journey in the tourism industry in 2019 as a passionate traveler and content creator. Through his YouTube channel Deshi Vlogger, he explored the scenic landscapes of Sikkim and Darjeeling, sharing authentic travel experiences.

His passion for travel soon evolved into adventure. Arjun completed a remarkable solo scooty ride to Ladakh and extensively explored Northeast India. He further achieved international riding milestones across Nepal, covering challenging Himalayan terrains such as Mustang, Manang, and Dolpa.

Driven by an adventurous spirit, he also undertook an ambitious All India ride on his scooty, covering major parts of North India. Although the journey was cut short due to health challenges, it stands as a testament to his resilience and dedication.

Beyond riding, Arjun has trekked to some of the most iconic destinations, including Tiger’s Nest in Bhutan, Kedarnath, Dzukou Valley, Sandakphu, and Tilicho Lake—experiences that have deepened his connection with nature and travel.

With strong hands-on experience in tourism, Arjun understands the true value of guest relationships, comfort, and authentic travel experiences. He initially started a campsite and later established a homestay, which is now successfully running—earning trust and building lasting connections with travelers.
